The Tech Tribe runs on people who give their time, knowledge and support. Whether you are just starting out in tech or have years of experience to share, there is a way to take part.
Choose the option that suits you below. Every one of them helps keep tech education free for the people who need it most.
Find the right fit
Join a Tribe
For: anyone learning or working in UX design or data.
Join a free community, take part in monthly sessions, get feedback on your work and meet people who share your goals. Sign-up takes a few minutes.
Members can also be invited to our mentorship programme as mentees. We reach out through the members forum.
Become a mentor
For: professionals with four or more years of experience.
Guide someone through their first steps in tech. The application takes about 10 minutes and we match you with a mentee whose goals fit your experience.
Volunteer
For: anyone with time and skills to share.
Volunteers help us host sessions, moderate our communities, support events and share skills such as design, writing, social media and operations. Tell us what you can offer and we will find a role that fits.
Partner with us
For: companies, organisations and communities.
Fund a programme, provide mentors or speakers, or offer in-kind support such as venues, equipment or software. We agree clear goals and report back on how your support was used.
Support our work
For: anyone who wants to help financially.
Donations keep our Tribes, mentorship and sessions free. You can give online through Paystack, or by bank transfer to Alternative Bank Limited, account name The Tech Tribe Charitable Foundation, account number 0506194864.
